SEPAC: Liaison Meeting Minutes
October 23, 2007

The meeting began at 7:30pm . We began by speaking about Curriculum Night at the various elementary schools. Liaisons introduced themselves and spoke to parents about SEPAC. Everything went well.

Liaisons turned in their school publication forms and PTO information. We discussed the flyers which used to be picked up by the liaisons at the Administration Building and distributed to their specific schools. The flyers will now be distributed to the schools via inter-school mail. Liaisons will still deliver, in person or via email, any advertisements to be put in school publications by a certain date. Limitations on using school copy machines were discussed .

Dianne O’Donnell stated that each school should have at least one goal regarding Special Education every year.

Also, we discussed that several PTOs have responded to SEPAC’S request for donations. Donations will help support scholarships for graduating high school students or be earmarked for specific purposes by donors. Liaisons are encouraged to attend at least one of their PTO meetings to introduce themselves.

Michelle Fiola-Reidy offered to help Louise with her liaison listserv.

The meeting adjourned at 9:00pm.

Liaison Coordinator,
