Please join us for a presentation on transition planning by the Westwood Guidance and Special Education Departments. Guidance Department Head Lynne Medsker will talk about the services and supports at WHS for ALL students in grades 9-12 in the college and career process. Robin Fabiano and Jessica Pugliesi from Special Education will provide specific information about how students with IEPs are supported in the process of planning for life after High School. The workshop will include information about the Transition Program which serves students 18-22 who continue to receive special education services after their traditional senior year. Examples of services and programming for students in this age category will be shared.
All Westwood parents/caregivers are welcome. We ask that whatever parents share during a meeting is confidential, not to be discussed outside of the group.
