As a parent or caregiver of a child who has either a 504 or IEP you may have considered working with an advocate. Please join us to hear from Catherine Mayes, Special Education Advocate, and Leslie Lockhart, Helpline Coordinator for Massachusetts Advocates for Children, to learn and ask questions about:

  • When it may be beneficial to engage with an advocate

  • The different types of advocates

  • Training for advocates

  • How to find the advocate that is right for you

  • Questions to ask when selecting an advocate

Where: Westwood Public Library Community Meeting Room, 660 High St

When: Arrive at 6:30pm to meet and network, presentation will begin at 7pm
